SAN JUAN, Philippines – The UST Golden Tigresses earned a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four of the 81st UAAP women's volleyball tourney after besting defending champion DLSU in four sets, 25-14, 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Wednesday.

Both teams slugged it out in a high-pressure battle inside the jam-packed arena.

Sisi Rondina was unstoppable against the Lady Spikers. The graduating volleybelle was scoring from everywhere on the court.

Rookie sensation Eya Laure also proved crucial to UST's victory.

Meanwhile, La Salle struggled to maintain any offensive momentum on their end.

The Lady Spikers will head into the Final Four as the third seed and will face the España-based squad once again on Sunday in a do-or-die match-up.
