MANILA, Philippines — The ink is now dry.
One of Barangay Ginebra’s most celebrated guards in Mark Caguioa put his name in the PBA’s history books on Friday night, pouring in 16 points to reach 10,000 career points scored.
Coincidentally, "The Spark," as Caguioa is known to die-hard Gin Kings fans, hit the milestone one his 16th season. He also is the 16th player to achieve such feat.
It is also quite noting that the 38-year-old cager had a smooth scoring performance in the game — until he was just two points shy from the rare accomplishment.

He joined the @pbaconnect’s 10,000-Point Club.
The road to that list wasn’t that smooth, though. Especially when he was two points shy from the milestone ???? ?????
He later admitted that there was ‘gigil’ factor. pic.twitter.com/88ZouN1z4D
