MANILA, Philippines -- Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. is getting comfortable with his off-the-bench role in the NBA D-League.

Parks, Jr., the 25th overall selection in the D-League Draft, scored for the third game in a row piling up two points, two steals, one rebound and one assist in the Texas Legends' 108-88 thumping of the Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday (Manila time) at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas.

Parks, Jr. scored on a layup in the early moments of the fourth quarter

Parks, Jr. has averaged 3.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steal in 12.3 minutes in his last three games where the Legends won two out of three.

The Fil-Am swingman scored a personal NBA D-League high four points on 2-of-4 shooting on top of two rebounds and three assists in 12 minutes of play in the Legends' 105-93 win against the Delaware 76ers last Jan. 7.

He followed that up with a 3-point, 5-rebound, 1-steal performance in a heartbreaking 116-117 loss to Oklahoma City Blue three days ago. They will play the Warriors, which has former Purefoods import Daniel Orton on the roster, in the second of back-to-back homestand Sunday (Manila time).

The victory pushed the Legends to second spot in the Southwest Division with 11-9 win-loss card while the Austin Spurs continued to pace them with 15-9 mark.
