MANILA, Philippines – Make it two.

Sabine Lisicki extended her brilliant ways in New York after an easy work of Camila Giorgi, 6-1, 6-0, Friday at the second round of the U.S. Open.

The German Lisicki was just too  much for the Italian Giorgi, who struggled to match the former's 13 aces.

The 23-year old right-handed Giorgi succumbed to 10 double faults in the match. Her performance was also plagued with 29 unforced errors.

Lisicki, who is suiting up for the Philippine Mavericks for the International Premiere Tennis League, was her usual dominating self, averaging with serves not lower than 106 mph and converting the 22 of her 30 serves (73%).

This is the second straight-set victory of the power hitter after a 6-1, 6-4 drubbing of Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovic in the first round.
