MANILA, Philippines -- Gilas Pilipinas left the country on Monday leaving behind the controversial pullouts of the players from the San Miguel Corporation and hoping to create the same bonding and chemistry that fueled the last national team to play above expectations in last year' s FIBA World Cup. 

Gilas holdovers Ranidel de Ocampo and Gary David, who have always provided the comical relief aside from their veteran leadership, are at it again showing how this latest Gilas pool are bonding while they are on an 11-hour plane trip to Turkey then another three-hour trip to Estonia.
