Fans can score LeBron Rise Tour tickets online on Aug. 14

MANILA, Philippines -- Fans will no longer have to camp out for sleepless nights just to score a ticket to see LeBron James in his second tour in Manila.

Unlike in 2013 where there was a pandemonium outside Nike Park's flagship store in Global City three days before the event, Nike Philippines turned to internet to avoid the hassle and logistical nightmare of the manual registration.

For this year's LeBron James' Nike Rise Tour, fans can obtain a ticket by registering on gonike.me/LebronJamesRiseTour starting 9:00 AM on August 14 until 11:59 PM of the same day. Fans who successfully register will need to bring their confirmation email and valid ID on the designated times and dates at Nike stores from August 15 to 18 to pick up their tickets.

Fans can also be part of a special LeBron James photo mosaic when they pick up their tickets at the at Nike Park Fort in Taguig where a custom “Rise Beyond Belief” photo booth will be set up.

Nike is bringing James back for its Rise documentary, their latest basketball reality search featuring streetballers who do not have access yet to the big organized basketball programs in the country.

James will inspire the Rise kids in an open training at the Mall of Asia Arena on Aug. 20 and will also do the honor of announcing the final lineup of Team Rise.

Gates will open at 6:00PM.

Nike Philippines hopes that James will not only inspire the Rise kids but all Filipino youth as well.

The two-time NBA champion and four-time MVP will mentor the Rise kids, which will also be shown on one of its five episodes, which has been airing on TV5 every Sunday at 6 p.m.

James also has his own story of "Rising beyond belief" when he jumped into the NBA as the top overall pick straight from high school.

The Ohio native broke into the basketball scene during his formative years in high school, growing up with a drive for greatness like no other.  His relentless desire paired with numerous hours in the gym spent practicing and honing his skills, paved the way to basketball superstardom.

After being drafted in 2003, he has since lived up to the hype with numerous accolades under his belt, including two championship rings, four MVP Awards, two Finals MVP Awards, and two All-Star MVP Awards.

On a global scale, he was the centerpiece of two Olympic Gold Medal runs in 2008 and 2012. In the past year, he faced more scrutiny and criticism than any other basketball player in the league even as he powered his team through the finals against numerous trials and challenges. He showed that no matter what adversities one faces, one should go all the way and do his best and know that he can rise above it all.
