Que, Lascuna make Asian Tour OOM Top 10
MANILA, Philippines - Angelo Que finished No. 6 while Tony Lascuna ended up ninth at the close of the 2014 Asian Tour Order of Merit ranking topped by American David Lipsky.
Que, a three-time Asian Tour leg winner, wound up second in the Hong Kong Open, finished eighth in the CIMB Classic and placed ninth in Taiwan Masters to pool earnings of $383,330 in a 16-tournament stint.
Lascuna, on the other hand, earned $253,163, also in 16 tournaments, highlighted by his back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Selangor Masters and Taiwan Masters. The three-time OOM winner of the Philippine Golf Tour also placed second in the Philippine Open, also an Asian Tour leg, and ended up third in the Yeangder TPC.
Miguel Tabuena finished at 37th with $91,600 in earnings with the 20-year-old shotmaker securing his card with a runner-up finish at Yeangder TPC. He also turned in a seventh place finish in Solaire Open.
Lipsky topped this year’s OOM derby with $602,833 with a victory in the rich European Masters and a second place effort at The Championship in Singapore.
