MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities and some lucky participants of the Cannonball 1000 will get to drive the latest Jeep and Harley-Davidson models during the staging of the unique motorsports event slated next month.
This was the commitment made by officials of both Harley-Davidson and Jeep during the sponsorship agreement entered into by the two iconic brands with six-time endurance champion Joey Almeda, who is organizing the Cannonball 1000.
Almeda made the pact with Kevin Barriga, representing Harley-Davidson and Tonette Lee of Jeep.
The Riders and Drivers’ Briefing of the Cannonball 1000, which will have the field traversing a North Luzon route of over 1,000 kilometers under a time limit of only 24 hours, will be held at the Urdaneta Village Club House on Jan. 2, from 6 p.m. onwards.

The Cannonball 1000 is open to all cars and motorcycles with displacements of 301cc and above to ride along the scenic North Luzon loop, passing through towns of Baloc, Ilagan, Tuguegarao, Aparri, Pagudpud, Laoag, Vigan, La Union, Baguio, and Tarlac and back to Clark.
