MANILA, Philippines - The Elorde Cockpit Stadium is hosting its four-cock anniversary derby tonight in Sucat, Parañaque, with businessman-sportsman Johnny Elorde as promoter.
The derby has a guaranteed prize of P300,000. The entry fee is P11,000 with the handler and the gaffer of the winning entry receiving P20,000 and P10,000, respectively. Minimum bet is P5,500.
Meanwhile, a one-cock ulutan is held every Monday and Tuesday with the regular “sabong” held Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
