MANILA, Philippines - The third conference leveling day of KidzHoops is scheduled Sept. 7 at 1 p.m., at the Jose Rizal University (JRU) gym along Shaw Boulevard in Manadaluyong.
Boys and girls from 8 to 14 who enjoy the game of basketball are invited to join this organized recreational tournament for beginners and experienced players alike.
The all-Sunday tournament proper starts October 12.
“Active children are more likely to mature into physically active adults,” said KidzHoops founder Eva Celestino. “Aside from the health benefits of physical activities, KidzHoops can also improve the social skills of children and best of all, playing is fun.”
Only 40 slots per age group (10-U, 12-U, 14-U) are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
The new online service of KidzHoops makes participation in the tournament easier and transactions safer, Celestino said.
