MANILA, Philippines - Action in the Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala regional age group tennis circuit presented by Tecnifibre shifts to Bohol this weekend for the fourth leg with another huge field expected to vie for top honors in various divisions at the Ubay Tennis Club in Ubay, Bohol.
Philta regional vice president Tingardz Uy has confirmed the participation of entries from Cebu, Dumaguete, Siquijor, Panglao, Carmen and from other towns of Bohol, guaranteeing a spirited battle not only for titles but also for ranking points.
The Group 4 tournament will fire off Friday with competitions in the boys’ and girls’ 18-, 16-, 14-, and 12-and-under and 10-unisex categories.
“We are inviting all the tennis-playing youth not only from Bohol but also from nearby cities and provinces to join the event, which serves as part of our junior development program,†said Ubay, Bohol Mayor Galicano Atup.

Atup also thanked Palawan Pawnshop and Technifibre and the Philippine Tennis Association for holding a leg again in Bohol, which boasts of a big number of tennis-playing youth and enthusiasts.
