MANILA, Philippines - A qualifying tournament for the selection of the members of Team Checkmate bound to US will be held at 9 a.m. on Jan. 11 at San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila.
The one-day event is open to 2013 enrollees of the Milo-sponsored Checkmate clinics held in Metro Manila and provinces. The participants will be divided into four groups – 8-U; 10-U; 12-U and juniors (13 above).
The slots to be contested are two in 8-under; three in 10-under; three in 12-under and two in the junior section.
