MANILA, Philippines - The sixth edition of the Metropolitan Chess Club Amateurs chess tournament will be held Sunday at Starmall Las Piñas in Pamplona 2, Las Piñas City.
Open to kiddies, juniors, adults and seniors who are beginners, unrated or with NCFP rating not over 1850, the one-day event offers a total pot of P15,000.
It will employ the seven-round Swiss System with time control of 20 minutes in selecting the top 10 major winners and the five category top performers.
The champion will get the top prize of P4,000.
