Javier, Cruz rule ABC monthly meet

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Eurolux Lightings rolled a six-game series 1283 to cop the Group I crown while Pinoy Cruz of Concrete Ventures took the Group 2 plum with a 1087 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel finished second with a 1279, Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard had a 1249 for third while Buddy Segui of American Wires placed fourth with a 1248 in Group 1 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes submitted a 1048, Violy Magsakay of Boysen Virtuoso made 1037, while Randy Poon of Duraflex TW Wires had a 1034 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The event, backed by Steeltech, WeKonstruct, Spurway, Coach Furnitures, Class Asia, Greystone, Boysen Healthy Homes/Acrytex/Knoxout, Duraflex/THHN/THW Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Crown Pipes and Emerald Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at E Lanes.
