MANILA, Philippines – LeBron James made good on his promise to come back better, and the Miami Heat equalized the series with a gutsy 109-93 victory over the Spurs. Let’s find out the notable stats during Game 4:
1. Reigning MVP LeBron James put on a Finals career- high 33 point performance to lead the Heat.
2. Miami’s Big Three (James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh) played their best game of the series, combining for 85 points and shooting 58 percent from the field in a scintillating display of their scoring prowess.
3. The Spurs Big Three of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were clearly dominated as they only managed to score 40 points (less than half of their counterpart), with Duncan the only player to crack the 20-point plateau.
4. After scoring 15 points in the first half, star guard Tony Parker was scoreless in the second half, shooting 0/4 from the field.
5. San Antonio continued to wax hot from the outside, shooting 8/16 for another 50 percent clip from the 3-point area. This, however, pales in comparison to their record 16 3-pointers in Game 3.
