MCC chess up at Walter Mart-Sucat

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Chess Club 16-under age-group tournament gets going at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday with a big field expected to participate at Walter Mart- Sucat in Parañaque City.

The one-day, seven-round Swiss system tournament is open to kids and juniors with NCFP rating of 1850 and below. 

The tournament offers a total pot of P10,000 with the winner getting P3,000 plus trophy and medal.

Entry fee for early entries is P200. Payment can be made at BDO SA 1480-1353-70 under the account name Milagros Emperado. A charge of P50 will be added for those who will register on the tournament day.
