MANILA, Philippines - Hobe Bihon goes for the first of two cracks at the second DELeague Open Invitational Basketball Cup crown as it clashes with Skyforce Team tonight in the finals at the Marikina Sports Park.
Hobe Bihon nipped Hog’s Breath Café, 89-87, to sweep the single-round semis and gain a twice-to-beat edge in the finals against Skyforce Team, which dethroned Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, 116-111, in overtime last Tuesday.
Jeff Sanders and Christian Jefferson are expected to lead Hobe’s bid again after combining at endgame to fend off Hog’s Breath.
