MANILA, Philippines - The first module of the Ty Tang Basketball School, one of the few basketball camps that offer personalized training, is going on at the Xavier School gym in San Juan.
Founded by former La Salle standout and current Rain or Shine star, the cage clinic is a combination of fun and interaction with other students from and outside Xavier, while greatly instilling values like discipline, hard work and sportsmanship to each participant.
Backed by Xavier School, Mighty Sports Association, Mighty Sports Apparels and Accessories, and Rain or Shine, the training camp serves as a venue to develop and motivate participants to a higher level of competition.
The first module, which started last March 26, is open to all aspirants with or without experience. Classes are held every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It will end on April 21. The second module will start on April 23 and ends May 12.
A Family Day at the end of each module will also be held where participants and their parents can take part in the parent-kid shootout and two-ball competition.
