Southwoods seniors golf unfolds tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Southwoods Seniors Trimester Birthday Bash/Pre-Christmas tournament gets under way tomorrow with 60 players expected to clash for top honors in various divisons at the Masters layout in Carmona, Cavite.

The shotgun start tee off will be at 8 a.m. with titles in Classes A (0-12), B (13-24), C (25-36), Super Senior (75-years-old-and-above) to be disputed under the individual medal format, according to the organizing Senior Chapter, headed by president Jose Cedo and vice president Paco Gonzalez.

A Yamaha Golf Cart from Yamaha, a Mitsubish Lancer JT M/T car, courtesy of Diamond Motors Corp., and a golf set from Wilson are at stake as hole-in-one prizes in the tournament capping the three-leg tournament among Southwoods’ golfing senior chapter members and their guests.

Fabulous prizes will also be raffled off during awards rites in the tournament also held in line with the annual meeting of the club’s seniors chapter.

The event, presented annually by Anako Phils., Fumaco, Inc. and Yamaha by Kart Plaza and Wilson Sports, is backed by Romago, Inc., Vantage Point and Asia Pacific Golf Corp.
