NCA derby up
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds another derby tomorrow with Gov. Ito Ynares and the Firefly Group and Eric dela Rosa hosting the event at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Jojo Cruz, Bong Pineda, Gov. Amante, John-John Paulino, Mayor Panganiban, Atong Ang, William Ong, Ferdie Lim, Ramon Mancenarez, and Ferdie Eusebio head the roster of breeders vying for top honors along with NCA members Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Elmer Nepomuceno, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos and Bebot Roxas.
Others in the fold are Ruel Ricafort, Jun Santiago, Cong. Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Gov. Ito Ynares, Jun Topacio, Jun Mendoza, Romy Lim, Ricky Magtoto, Eric dela Rosa, Mario Villamor, Bong Carreon, Mayor Ellan Nagaño, Pete Ison, Boy Jiao, Ernie Austria, Bebot Uy, Iggy Arroyo and Arnold Mendoza.
Sec. Ronnie Puno, with its Sundance Grey entry, and Pasay RCD 4-Cock April 29 of Patrick Antonio dominated the NCA derby last April 12.
Finishing with four points was “Goldquest Champions” of Osang dela Cruz while “Cobra” of BL/Atong Ang, “Rizal” of Gov. Ito Ynares, and “Imax” of Eddie Gonzales wound up with three points.
