MANILA, Philippines - A star-studded Blue Water Day Spa fun run fires off tomorrow with the country’s leading celebrities and a slew of Brazilian models joining close to 5,000 participants at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City.
BWDS endorsers Sam Milby, Karylle, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Fabio Ide, Daniel Matsunaga, Boom Labrusca and running coach Rio dela Cruz head the roster of celebrities in the event which features 3K, 5K and 10K races.
Cash prizes are up for grabs in the footrace, put up by Blue Water Day Spa to promote healthy lifestyle and wellness, with the top three finishers in the premier 10K run getting P5,000, P4,000 and P3,000, respectively.
The champion in the 5K race will receive P3,000 while the second and third placers will get P2,000 and 1,000, respectively. The winner in the 3K run will take home P2,000.
The field is also expected to come up with a variety of get-ups in line with the event’s “Jazz Up Your Singlet” contest. Selected best-designed singlets will have a chance to ramp their singlets down the catwalk after the event organized by Event King Corp.
BlueWater Day Spa prides to have the first and only Spa Theater in the country, a 28-lazy boy seater, which caters to people who wants to watch their favorite movies while being pampered in luxurious spa treatments. It boasts of 25 branches nationwide.
