MANILA, Philippines - Lito Zubiri of Duraflex Wires fired a six-game series of 1201 to bag the Group I crown, Albert Ong of Boysen Paints scored 1100 to cop the Group 2 plum while Ariel Uy of Boysen Virtuoso captured the Group 3 title with a 912 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.
Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires turned in an 1175 while Manny Padit of Philflex Cables rolled 1166 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group I, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Joan Mendoza came up with 1080 and Freddie Adivoso of Emerald Vinyl had 1052 to place second and third, respectively, in Group 2. Margie Poblete of Concrete Ventures had 898 and Cora Adivoso of ProActive Pest Control carded 848 for second and third, respectively, in Group 3.
Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Unitec Pipes, SP&A Const., Firefly Royu, American Wires, Medwest Tech.
