PBA stars, beauty queens take fashion ramp

MANILA, Philippines - Sixteen of the PBA’s current and up-coming stars will be featured tomorrow in a special fashion show presented by Asia’s first play-for-pay league in partnership with Binibining Pilipinas Charity, Inc.

The participation of Miss Universe fourth runner-up Venus Raj and the rest of the 2010 Binibining Pilipinas winners spice up the event billed as “Pormang PBA” and scheduled 6-9 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum.

“This is an entirely different experience for our players and I’m sure the fans will love it,” said PBA commissioner Chito Salud.

Leading the cast of player-models are Gabe Norwood, Sol Mercado and Doug Kramer from the Rain or Shine team, Barangay Ginebra’s JC Intal and Ronald Tubid, Ryan Reyes and Jarred Dillinger of Talk n Text.

Also parading on the ramp are Wesley Gonzales and the rookie pair of Severino Baclao and Rabeh Al-Hussaini of Air21, Rob Reyes of Barako Bull, Powerade’s Francis Allera and rookie Sean Michael Anthony and MacMac Cardona of rookie franchise Meralco.
