MANILA, Philippines - The first Charity Golf Challenge of Isla Lipana Foundation will be held Sept. 29 with a big field of sponsors and patrons expected to participate at The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The event is held to raise funds for the “Seat of Hope” Project with organizers hoping to produce school chairs for some 5,000 public school students.
Tee-off time is 7 a.m.
The “Seat of Hope” Project aims to address the shortage of school chairs in its pilot beneficiary, the Dalandanan National High School in Valenzuela, Metro Manila. Half of the classrooms are without proper school chairs to comfortably seat 5,000 students.
