KidzHoops holds third conference

MANILA, Philippines - KidzHoops’ is holding a levelling game for its third conference on Sept. 12 at the RFM gym on Pioneer Street, Pasig.

Tournament director Eva Celestino said registration will be at 1 p.m. on a first-come-first-served basis to be followed with the leveling at 2 p.m.

Boys and girls aged 8 to 14 are invited to join the long-running community league whose motto “where everybody plays” is adhered to. The league is designed to allow all participants to get involved in tourmament play with boys and girls of their age to enjoy the game of basketball.

For a registration fee of P1800 all participants will play a minimum of five games officiated by certified referees and table officials from the UP College of Human Kinetics. The fee includes a reversible jersey. The Sunday-only tournament (with limited slots only) starts pre-registration on Aug. 24.

Text the participants name, age and preferred jersey number (at least 3 numbers) to 09172779134 / 09175923191 then deposit the amount at any BPI branch to SA No. 3076-3600-52 under Eva Celestino. Then text again the name, age, branch and date once the deposit was made including the reference number for confirmation and for easy tracking of deposits.
