The Looney Tunes Active!, a Warner Bros. project aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle not only among children but also their parents, held a series of fun runs, including running clinics, in various schools last year.
Meanwhile, WBCP, through its Philippine agent Global Brands Group, will also stage a bigger Looney Tunes Active fun run June 5 at SM Cebu where six events are on tap, including a novel 500-m run among 4-and-under year-olds. The other races are the 1K and 1.5K runs for 5-7, 8-9 and 10-12 age groupers, and the open 3K, 5K and 10K events.
Race directors for both Looney Tunes runs are noted running coach Rio dela Cruz and Noy Jopson, the country’s Iron Man.
Registration for the Looney Tunes-Cebu run is ongoing. Deadline is on Sunday at the Timex Shop at Ayala Cebu and Watch Republic Cebu.
