Miranda, San Luis top BDO run

MANILA, Philippines - Tomas Miguel Miranda and Roxanne San Luis bested their rivals in their respective divisions to lead the winners in the Banco De Oro (BDO)’s “Race For Life” running event at the SM Mall of Asia grounds recently.

Miranda topped Doel Torres and Raul Villaverde to rule the BDO 6-km run for male while San Luis ruled the ladies side over Eleanor Tania and Gin Garcia.

Benjamin Teodoro and Ruselle Cedeno dominated the 3K events, beating Joel Bagadiong and Marvin Castillo (male) and Marlyn Estrella and Maria Briosos (female) also in the BDO category.

In the Friends of BDO race, Gerald Sabal and Maricel Maquilan topped the 6K run while Alfrego Vegarozaga and Rosario Fercol won the 3K races.

Jay-R Dermejo and Michelle de Vera led the kiddies winner in the event held to encourage employees to develop volunteerism as a BDO lifestyle at the same time promoting physical fitness.

Roger Denolo and Riva Ganzon captured the titles in the teens category.

The event was backed by BDO Employees Union - NUBE, Pocari Sweat, Maxicare, Intellicare, Oleia Topical Oil, Golds Gym, Hotels – Traders/Citadel Inn/ Mandarin/Linden Suites/ Century Park/ The Malayan/ Makati Shangri-La – Skechers Holey Soles Shoes, Gardenia Breads/Pastries, Café Via Mare, Takbo.ph, Sportspray and BDO Camera Club.
