MANILA, Philippines - The UP Law Class 1985 will be celebrating in 2010 the 100th Anniversary of George Malcolm as a professor of law in the Philippines with a series of fund-raising activities to be kicked off with the staging of the Malcolm Centennial Cup golf tournament at Southwoods tomorrow.
The event, organized by the UP Law Class 1985, willl help defray the cost of construction of a reading room in the vicinity of the library for the use of students and faculty, the renovation of the Dean’s Office, awarding of scholarships to deserving students and the establishment of professorial chairs.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. with the shotgun tee-off set at 8:30 a.m. Ticket price is at P 3,500 inclusive of green fee, golf cart, giveaway, lunch, and a chance to win raffle prizes such as a round-trip ticket to Hawaii via Hawaiian Airlines, TV set, home theatre system, and various golf equipment and accessories.
