MANILA, Philippines – The Mazda BT-50 -TRS Drift Team embarks on another big challenge as it tries to surpass its previous feats in Round 5 of the Castrol Drifting Series today at the Promenade Parking grounds in Greenhills.
TRS president JP Tuason, brother Mike Tuason, Bjorn Ongtiabok, Audell Sisson and Stuart McDonald lead the title quest of the team supported by Mazda Phils., Goodyear, Speedlab, Aguila Auto Glass, Unichip, OMP, Dupont, Starbright Body Kits, Rota wheels, Fremuff, H&R, K&N, Philippine Auto Club, C! Magazine, Orange Electronics, Pocari Sweat, Discovery Suite, Yellow Cab and AutoCraft, the official drift tuners of TRS.
Barely four months in the competition, the team performed beyond expectations bagging two Top Four finishes so far in the series aboard the unique Mazda BT-50 TRS drift truck which has earned the distinction as the world’s first diesel powered drift vehicle and the first double cab size pickup truck for drifting.
