De Jesus, Magsakay best in ABC bowlfest

MANILA, Philippines – Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables scored a six-game series of 1377 while Violy Magsakay of Ragojos Heritage Const. rolled 1173 as they captured the Group 1 and 2 crowns, respectively, in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championships at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City.

Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints came up with 1327, Ritz Diaz of Lepanto Tiles had 1314 while Lito Zubiri of Felport Mktg. scored 1258 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ryan Jalandoon (1115) of Stone 2000, Romy Ochoa (1108) of ABC Phils. and Malou del Rosario (1050) of Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. placed second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Romi de Jesus is inviting all licensed architects to join the event every Tuesday as ABC braces for its 32nd anniversary with a month-long tournament starting tonight and club outing at Chateau Royale Resort and Country Club in Batangas on May 23-24.

Action in the event, backed by Emerald Vinyl, Crown Pipes, Hocheng Phils. Pro Active Pest Control, Pacific World Bldg. Mngmt. and Sika Phils., resumes at 7 tonight with the opening of the 32nd ABC anniversary tournament, also at Green Valley.
