MANILA, Philippines - The World Slasher Cup II, featuring the country’s top breeders against their foreign counterparts, is expected to establish a new record when it is held May 12, 14 and 16 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Organizers of the event are confident of surpassing the record field of 207 entries, which competed in the World Slasher Cup I last January.
The bi-annual event is presented by Araneta Center in cooperation with Thunderbird Bexan XP, Sagupaan Complexor 3000 and hosted by Pintakasi of Champions.
Heading the roster of foreign entries are partners Wilbert LeBlanc and Richard Harris (Yellow Rose) of Louisiana, who nearly bagged the solo championship last January after losing their last fight.
Also in the list is James Campbell (Osage Gamefarm) of Ohio, USA, whose Sweater and Kelso fighters won a share of the championship for the Cucamonga entry of California-based Pinoy cocker Jorge Torres and former Davao Congressman Claude Bautista.
