Diaz-Taimanglo match banners Fearless-9 card

MANILA, Philippines - Ryan Diaz and Baby Joe Taimanglo headline the blockbuster fight card in the Fearless Fighting Championships - Fearless 9, which explodes April 4 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Organizers of the event assured fans of a slambang action among the country’s top mixed martial arts practitioners and foreign grapplers who are raring to mix it up for fame and fortune in the octagon arena starting at 6 p.m.

That includes Diaz, nicknamed the Lion, and Taimanglo, known as the Juggernaut, who will square off for the lightweight (149-lbs) crown, while fancied wushu expert Joel Amurao puts his featherweight (129-lbs.) belt on the line against Kid Rodel Orais.

Razi Jabarri and Cesar Yarte provide the action in the other title showdown in the middleweight (169 lbs.) division of the event dubbed “Uprising” put up by Makisig Network Inc. and Fearless Promotions Inc

Backing the keenly awaited event are Metrocard Club, Pagcor and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Superb Security Agency with Malaya, Business Mirror, I-Mag, Phil. Graphic, I-Watch, Magic 89.9, NU 107 and YES-FM as media partners.

Three other matches will usher in the main clashes in the explosive fight card.
