Roldan-Zubiri tandem burns lane in ABC bowlfest

MANILA, Philippines - Boy Roldan and Lito Zubiri of Boysen Paints waxed hot with 1687 pinfalls to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s doubles events crown at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Walter Villanueva and Roldan of Crown Pipes rolled 1684 while Romi de Jesus and Eugene Panaguiton of Philflex Wires and Cables scored 1667 to finish second and third, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, the ABC board has set a month-long tournament and club outing in May in Hong Kong as ABC braces for its 32nd anniversary. ABC president Romi de Jesus is inviting all licensed architects to join the event held every Tuesday.

Action in the event, backed by Emerald Vinyl, Hocheng Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Ragojos Heritage Const., Pacific World Building Mgmt., Lepanto Tiles, Felport Marketing, ABC Phils., Sika Phils. and Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the resumption of the monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
