Quezon shocks host Misamis in Liga leg

GINGOOG CITY , Philippines  – Quezon stunned host Misamis Oriental, 67-64, to boost its bid in the Misamis Oriental leg of the 2009 Smart Liga Pilipinas Conference II at the Arturo Lugod Memorial Sports and Cultural Center here Thursday.

The Red Oilers’ victory stalled the Meteors’ drive for a third straight finals appearance with the latter needing to beat the streaking M. Lhullier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños on the final day of elims to stay in the hunt for the leg title.
