Alaminos runners shine in Dagupan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – Runners from Alaminos City dominated yesterday’s third Dagupan Pinay Idol Marathon joined by almost 300 women participants from the different sectors.

Alaminos runners Liza Angan-angan (14), Honeylyn Julian (15) and Marivic Casipit (15) all of Alaminos City finished first, second and third places, respectively, in the 5Krace.

The marathon is part of the celebration of International Women’s Day.

Angan-angan finished the race in 22 minutes and 11.48 seconds followed by Julian (22:13.78) and Casipit (22:16.46).

Alaminos runners who ruled the 3K race were Mae Ann Ranches (12, Jessabel Ancheta (12) and Mary Grace Ragudos (11).

The top finishers in both categories received cash prizes and medals. – Cezar Ramirez
