Cheng, Solis top Valentine bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Jun Cheng and Girlie Solis of Hocheng Phils. rolled 2460 to top the Architects Bowling Club’s Valentine doubles hi-lo event at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Dante Manglicmot and Lou Laforteza of Emerald Vinyl placed second with 2453 while Johnson Villanueva and Aida Gonzalo of Crown Pipes scored 2381 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Philflex Wires and Cables, Pro Active Pest Control, Ragojos Heritage Const., DN Steel, Pacific World Bldg. Mngmt., Firefly Lightings, Lepanto Tiles, Felport Mktg., ABC Phil., Sika Phils. and Supreme Steep Pipe Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the singles with handicap round 2, also at the Green Valley lanes.
