Last years Formula Toyota Cup champion JP Cariño will lead the four-man powerhouse cast of the Bosch Intelco Racing Team sponsored by Bosch, Intelco, Accel Sportswear, Castrol, Samsung, PR Autosport and Arrow Karts in regions premier inter-zonal kart series.
Cariño will be vying for the Rotax Seniors crown and will be joined by his able wingmen Archie Rubio and Daniel Cleak, and 13-year-old Marty Aguilar.
Cariño and Rubio upstaged their rivals from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines as they finished third and fourth, respectively in the Rotax Max Seniors.
Cleak, on the other hand, made waves with his strong 5th place windup in the 25-man Rotax Junior field in the kickoff leg of the Asian Zone Karting last April in Malaysia.
Aguilar, a seasoned junior karter and a perennial podium finisher in the cadet races, will suit up in the Rotax Juniors.
It will be the second time for Aguilar to race for the Bosch Intelco team in after finishing third in the third leg of the 2004 Shell Superkarting series a month ago. Aguilar easily adapted to his new A-Max Arrow chassis and had his moments in first place until set-up problems relegated him to third place
