"I dont recall saying (that the Task Force had closed the door to Django) when I talked to sportswriters after the (Task Force) meeting Thursday," said Carrasco.
According to Carrasco, it is the responsibility of an NSA to form the national team and make the proper recommendation. "Djangos participation in the Busan Asiad is a matter only the billiards body can decide and recommend to the POC Task Force," Carrasco explained.
Carrasco further clarified that the billiards coach, Ricardo Ancaja, has yet to submit the names of his players. Ancaja told the POC-PSC Task Force during Thursdays meeting that the team will have eight players.
"But Mr. Ancaja did not name the players. I expect him to submit the list, duly signed by the billiards association president (Ernesto Fajardo) next week," said Carrasco.
