Bacolod teams up

National seniors champion Richie Garcia and Jerusalem Vercide fired the maximum 42 points to share the individual lead even as Bacolod’s host teams showed the way at the start yesterday of the southern leg of the Rotary Golfing Fellowship Foundation of the Philippines (RGFFP) in Bacolod City.

Bacolod Marapara 2 had two-point lead over Garcia’s Bacolod South. Marapara 2 had 148 points against the Bacolod South’s 146. East Rizal was not too far behind at 143.

The event is sponsored by Taylor Made Adidas, PLDT, Cebu Pacific and Casino Filipino. L’Fisher together with Bimbo Salazar’s La Salle Bacolod High School Batch ’67 will host tonight’s awards rites.
