Agravantes entry, "Flying Fish", won first place in the figure kite category over Diego Osmeña and Neil Estrada in the adults division. Osmeñas entry was "Tacloban Eagle", while Estradas bet was "Birds in Paradise".
Agravante was also adjudged winner in the super kite category or the entry with the biggest flying kite in the figure kite.
Demaluna topped the adults geometric kite category with his entry "Sandatang Pilipinas". He won over Isabelo Jude Bugayos "Rainbow Flying House" and Salvador Partoles "Bear Brand Box."
The winners in the Saranggola ni Bear Brand (best flying kite) category were Argie Oquinos "Ghostfighter" and Nielo Philips "Plane."
All 21 winners received cash prizes, trophies and gift packs from Nestle Philippines, Inc., maker of Bear Brand.
The first two legs of the annual kite-flying competition were held in Dumaguete City last Feb. 3 and Cabanatuan City last Feb. 10.
Seven more legs will be held from March to May with the fourth leg scheduled in Naga City yesterday.
The 10th and final leg is scheduled at the Rizal Park on May 12.
