Three matches in the seniors division, including one between Mapua and Letran, which was actually called off last Monday due to a malfunctioning game clock, and two in the juniors division, were affected. The games will instead be played at the end of the second round.
Players from Mapua and Letran were already warming up for a 10 a.m. match when they complained of the slippery floor. The cancellation of yesterdays classes in some member schools also led to the decision to halt the games. Sundays game will go on as scheduled.
Aside from the Mapua-Letran match, also cancelled were seniors and juniors matches between San Sebastian and San Beda, and defending champion St. Benilde against unbeaten leader Jose Rizal University.
