Fuel subsidy for drivers released

DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines - The distribution of fuel subsidy, under the Pantawid Pampasada (2P) program, to the more than 2,000 tricycle drivers in this city has started Tuesday afternoon through the city's DILG at the City Mayor Office.

Felix Ablir, Jr, the local DILG chief, said the first 500 tricycle drivers--whose operators have valid franchise--were given cash assistance of P150 each.

Ablir said there was delay in the release of the fuel subsidy in the city because his office was still processing the documents. "Nalangan og gamay ang pangpanghatag gumikan kay daghan pa man gayud nga gi-process nga papeles og mga permahanang dokumento," he said.
