China tutulong sa livelihood program ng IP’s sa Davao
MANILA, Philippines — Nakahandang tumulong ang pamahalaang China sa livelihood program ng mga Indigenous People’s (IPs) o mga katutubo sa lungsod ng Davao.
Ito’y matapos na makipagpulong si Chinese Consul General Li Lin kay 1st District Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte.
Sinabi ni Duterte nitong Lunes na nakipag-dinner sa kaniya si Li lin noong Sabado kung saan nagbigay ito ng “commitment” na tutulong para maiangat ang kabuhayan ng mga katutubo sa Davao City.
“In the said meeting, the support for the livelihood programs for the [IPs] of Davao City was the highlight of the conversation,” ayon sa tanggapan ni Duterte.
“Rep. Duterte in turn manifested his full support to the program and in fact committed to Consul General Li Lin that he is willing to work hand in hand with the consular office, all for the purpose of alleviating socio-economic condition of our IP brothers and sisters in Davao City,” dagdag pa dito.
Ipinaabot naman ng solon ang kaniyang pasasalamat at malugod na pagtanggap sa China sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa infrastructure projects ng pamahalaan at iba pang mga programa para mapasigla ang ekonomiya ng bansa.
“Clearly, this is another step to a proper direction and a very bright future for the two nations,” ayon pa sa mambabatas na anak ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.Tiniyak naman ng kongresista na pangangasiwaang mabuti ang IP program sa lungsod ng Davao.
