Kampo ng militar nasunog

MANILA, Philippines - Pitong gusali kabilang ang arsenal ng militar ang naabo matapos masunog ang malaking bahagi ng  Camp  Martin Delgado na malubhang ikinasugat ng Army captain sa Iloilo City, Iloilo kahapon ng madaling-araw.

Kinilala ang nasugatang hepe ng Explosives and Ordinance Division ng Army Support Command na si Captain Noel Frias na nagtamo ng 2nd degree burn.

Sa skype teleconference sa PNP Press Corps, sinabi ni P/Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., bandang alas-2:30 ng madaling-araw naganap ang sunog sa tanggapan ng EOD ng ASCOM.

Nadamay din sa sunog ang mga tanggapan ng PRO6 Engineering Division, Firearms and Explosives Unit, Security Agencies and Guards Unit, PRO-6 Band at ang Civil Security Group 6.

Samantala, nadamay din sa sunog ang iba pang tanggapan sa loob ng kampo tulad ng Regional Logistics and Research Development Division, Retirement and Benefits Administration Service, Communication Electronic System of the Armed Forces of the Philipines, Regional Logistics and Research Development Division, Regional Police Community Relations Division, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Pre-School and Learning Center, Motor Pool,  at ang Community Toilet sa harapan ng  PRO-6 Gym.

Samantala, nasunog din ang M35 truck, asul na multicab (SDB 924); puting Nissan (FBB 267); Honda Exi (PDZ 483 ); owner-type jeep at iba pa.

Nadamay din ang ilang instrumentong pangmusika, mga kagamitan at personal na kagamitan ng mga pulis at sundalo.

Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, nagsimula ang apoy sa EOD office  ng Philippine Army habang patuloy naman ang imbestigasyon.
