DOH bibili na ng PPE sa mga lokal na manufacturer
MANILA, Philippines — Balak na rin ng Department of Health (DOH) na tangkilikin ang produktong PPEs (personal protective equipments) ng mga lokal na manufacturers at suppliers.
“We are supportive of our local suppliers. We worked with DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) so industries can produce medical grade PPEs,” ang pahayag kahapon ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.
Sa ilalim umano ng Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2), umaasa ang DOH na papasok na ang mga lokal na suppliers at manufacturers sa pagsu-suplay sa pamahalaan ng mga medical grade PPEs.
Ang reaksyon ay matapos na magreklamo ang mga miyembro ng Confederation of Philippine Manufacturers of PPE (CPMP) na hindi binibigyan ng prayoridad ng pamahalaan ang sariling mga negosyante at bumibili pa ng PPEs sa mga supplier sa ibang bansa.
