Tatlong lugar para sa tropang Kano pagtitibayin
MANILA, Philippines - Pagtitibayin pa ng Mutual Defense Board (MDB) ang tatlong lugar na inirekomendang gamiting access ng tropang Kano sa bansa kaugnay ng nilagdaang Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA).
Kabilang sa nasabing mga lugar ay sa Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija; San Miguel, Bulacan at Oyster Bay, Palawan.
“They are good bases that can be developed, there is room for deveÂlopment in these bases, yes we work through the MDB , the details of that will be discussed in the meeting “, ani AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Emmanuel Bautista.
Sa kasalukuyan under-developed pa ang Oyster Bay at kailangan nila itong idebelop para sa mga sundalong mag-iistasyon sa lugar.
Nabatid na ang Oyster Bay ay may layong 160 km (100 miles) mula sa disputed Spratly Islands kung saan nagsasagawa ng reclamation ang China partikular sa Johnson South Reef (Mabini Reef).
