“Surreal for us.

“It was one of those series when it’s very close every game. It came down to the wire again,” wika ng 48-anyos na si Trillo. “We credit our guys. They found a way. They showed composure in that second half for us.”

“Meralco Bolts family, do you believe? Thank you so much for believing in us since day one,” sabi ng Fil-Am guard na si Newsome na kumamada ng mga averages na 22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds at 4.5 assists at napiling Finals MVP.

“I’ve learned from all my failures, I’ve failed against Ginebra many times in the finals and those failures allowed me to push and elevate my game and to work on those things that I felt I needed to work on and you saw it paid off,” sabi ni Newsome, ang No. 4 overall pick ng Bolts noong 2015 PBA Draft at hinirang na Rookie of the Year noong 2016.
