Hitting Spree itataya ang titulo

MANILA, Philippines — Inaasahang mahihirapan ang Hitting Spree sa pagtatanggol sa titulo sa pagratsada ng 2018 Ambassador Eduardo M. Cojuangco Jr. Cup ngayon sa Saddle & Clubs Leisure Park Racetrack sa Naic, Cavite.

Hahamunin ang SC Stockfarm-owned na Hitting Spree, dinomina ang nakaraang edisyon ng Co­juangco Cup, ng pito pang thoroughbreds.

Ang dalawa dito ay ang stablemate ng Hitting Spree na Brilliance (jockey JB Hernandez) at 2017 third placer na She’s Incredible (jockey OP Cortez) ni owner Joseph Dyhengco.

Ang iba pang tatakbo ay ang Pangalusian Island (jockey JP Guce, owner Wilbert Tan), Sky Dancer (AP Asuncion, Cool Summer Farm), Tin Drum (RG Fernandez, Cool Summer Farm), Truly Ponti (JA Guce, Narciso Morales) at UND Kantar (RO Niu Jr., Melanie Habla).

Ang Hitting Spree ay muling sasakyan ni joc­key Kelvin Abobo sa 2,000-meter race na naglalatag ng kabuuang premyong P2 milyon sa pagpupugay sa San Miguel Corp. Chairman na sumusuporta sa horseracing industry.

May nakalatag na top purse na P1.2 milyon sa nasabing racing weekend na pinamamahalaan ng Philippine Racing Commission, Metropolitan Association of Race Horse Owners at Philippine Ra­cing Club.

Susuporta sa Cojuangco Cup ang 2018 Philracom 3YO Open Challenge Series.
