5-leg Phoenix Motocross series lalarga sa Sept. 22

MANILA, Philippines - Ang dating Asian Supercross champion na si Glenn Aguilar ang ma-ngunguna sa mga riders na sasabak sa unang yugto ng five-leg 2013 Phoenix Motocross Series na lalarga sa Messiah Fairgrounds, Club Manila East sa Taytay Rizal sa Sept. 22.

Inaasahang magbibigay ng hamon sina Enzo Rellosa, Jacob Orbe at ri-sing Mindanao motocross star Bornok Manosong kay Aguilar sa premier pro open category ng event na suportado ng Xtreme Adrenaline Sports Entertainment Co. (XAS) sa pangunguna ni chief executive officer Samuel Mark Tamayo.

Ang mananalo sa centerpiece event ay mag-uuwi ng top prize na P15,000, habang ang runner-up ay makakakuha ng P12,000 at ang third place ay may P10,000, ayon kay Tamayo na panauhin sa lingguhang Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum sa Shakey’s  kahapon.

Ang iba pang kate-goryang paglalabanan ay ang lites production, local enduro at underbone, habang ang mga amateur categories ay open production, ladies category, kids sr 85cc, kids jr 65cc, executive open production at ve-terans open production.

Ang mga pro local at pro underbone champions ay tatanggap ng P5,000, habang ang amateur ca-tegory winners ay mag-uuwi rin ng cash prizes at trophies.

Si Tamayo ay sinamahan sa forum na hatid ng Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corporation at Shakeys, ni Messiah Fairgrounds representative Ezekiel Tamayo at PPPI national sales ma-nager-lubricants Desi Enrico Maala at PPPI trade marketing officer-lubricants Lea Macabenta.

Ang mga susunod na yugto ng serye ay sa Sept. 29, Oct. 13, Nov. 3 at 10.
