UAAP muling ipinaliwanag ang kaso ng UP Juniors player
MANILA, Philippines - Ang paglabag sa pataÂkaran sa eligibility ang nagÂtulak sa University AthÂletic Association of the Philippines board paÂra ideklarang ineligible ang isang player ng University of the Philippines Integrated School (UPIS) sa Season 76.
Muling nilinaw ng UAAP board na nilabag ni Joshua General ang eliÂgibility rule sa kanyang pagÂlalaro sa UPIS.
Sa ilalim ng “OÂther Requirements†ng PlaÂyer’s Eligibility rule sa UAAP’s Rules and ReÂgulations sa kanilang ArÂticles of Incorporation and By Laws, “A (High School) athlete shall have a maximum of four plaÂying years within five (High School) years reÂcÂkoned from the acadeÂmic year of elementary graÂduation.â€
Nagtapos si General ng elementarya sa edad na 11-anyos sa Naga Parochial School sa Camarines Sur noong 2008.
Naglaro siya sa San BeÂda-Taytay sa kanyang freshÂman year bilang isang high schooler ngunit huÂminto noong Oktubre ng 2008-2009 school year.
Nag-enrol si General sa Lourdes School ManÂdaÂluyong hindi bilang isang high school freshman kundi isang Grade SeÂven student at muling nagÂtapos ng elementarya noÂong 2010.
